We’re excited to announce the inaugural Hong Kong Legal Walk is now running from 15th October until 12th November!
Hong Kong Legal Walk
Join together virtually with Hong Kong’s legal community to walk through some of Hong Kong’s most spectacular harbourfront spots, whilst raising funds and awareness for the Hong Kong Cancer Fund, the Changing Young Lives Foundation, the Association for the Rights of Industrial Accidents Victims and HELP for Domestic Workers.
Walk with your peers and colleagues (within the current guidelines), or individually, which can be completed at any time over the four week event period, choosing a level of participation that works for you:
Walker – Walk from Taikoo Place to the Central Harbourfront Wheel (7.5km)
Trekker – Trek from Aldrich Bay to Kennedy Town (12.5km)
Challenger – Challenge yourself with a route of your choice across the Hong Kong Island Coastal Trail (25km+)
Be a top fundraiser, get dressed up or go the extra (few) miles to win prizes! Souvenirs are also planned for each level of participation.
HOW IT WORKS
OUR CHARITIES
The Hong Kong Legal Walk has chosen to partner with Charitable Choice this year with 100% of the raise funds being donated to the following charities:
Hong Kong Cancer Fund is Hong Kong’s largest cancer support organisation, providing free information and professional support to anyone living with or affected by cancer. With services spanning from the hospital to the community and the home their vision is to ensure no one faces cancer alone.
Changing Young Lives Foundation is a HK-based charity dedicated to inspiring the under-resourced children and marginalized youth in Hong Kong and the Mainland to live their life to the fullest by providing free educational and empowerment programs to them.
Association for the Rights of Industrial Accident Victims (ARIAV) is an organization comprising people injured at work, family members of deceased employees in industrial accidents and people suffering from occupational diseases.
HELP For Domestic Workers provides free advice and assistance on employment, immigration and human rights issues to domestic workers in Hong Kong.
